What is the Mokarico MONO selection ?
This range is composed of coffee beans coming from a single producing country and a single plantation : the best way to explain flavors and aromas coming from distant lands, all different from each other. This range of exclusive coffees is dedicated to people who want to taste something new, for coffee lovers who want to discover special and unique products.

MONO Kenya : Coffee was introduced around the 1890s by missionaries from the British East India Company. Since then, we find the Kenya coffees in the best blends. Like the Mokarico Noir for example.

Kenya is the second largest producer of coffee in Africa. This one comes from the region of Kaptama (Province of the Rift Valley). The type of coffee is Catimor = A hybrid of the Timor variant (resistant to coffee rust because of its genetic roots: Robusta) and Arabica Caturra . Intense and fruity notes, beautiful crema. You will not find more refined like Mono-Origine coffee.

The rigorous selection of coffee beans and the mastered roasting of Mokarico makes it a jewel of coffee that all lovers must have in their kitchen for special occasions.

Mokarico Firenze is part of the elite in Italy, thanks to their experience and their mastery of aromas. This roaster has been based in Florence for over a century now. Their story begins when "la casa del caffè", founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the Barbier family who was based in a historic Florence street, "Corso dei Tintori", is taken over by the Paladini brothers, who created the brand Mokarico in 1936. Some coffee blends are even CERTIFIED by the INEI ! (Istituto nazionale dell'espresso Italiano -
